They said I could move back into my room finally, I was starting to get sick of hiding away in the bathroom anyway.

| Been out of it for a few days. Told me I didn’t wake up. It’s strange. Feels like I didn’t miss any time at all and... I feel sick to my stomach all of a sudden.
I’m awake now but the nurse here still won’t let me out of the ICU. Says something about medication and won’t let me out of bed for long. Not that I want to. I don’t know... In the meantime
she gave me something so I can catch up only
to find out that there’s nothing to really catch up on.
Irony.

keep having a strange nightmare.

16: AGE As of 1:30 this afternoon, patient regained consciousness and lucidity, although unknowing of his own whereabouts. He does not remember being restrained the other night, or what he had been restrained for.
Currently he does not know who or where he is, either, and claims to have been hearing a girl’s voice while comatose. A half hour after remaining conscious, patient had to be sedated after attempting to bite a nurse while administering his medication. The kid’s a real piece of work, I’ll give him that.
Patient also complains of fierce migraines. Lights within the room must remain dimmed even after processing the prescribed painkillers.
Every so often patient is visited by violent muscle spasms. He does not want to speak to any doctors. Perhaps a visit from a therapist or fellow patient would help calm him down.

Drugs are having a severe effect on the patient’s mental stability, as he is frequented by hallucinations. However, he does not complain about it—in fact, the patient is almost indifferent to the delirium. It appears it’s this “girl” he is all worried about. | |

16: AGE 8:07. So far the patient has yet to react to the new treatment, but revealed some signs of discomfort during the initial injection. He only seems to suffer from a slight fever; cold sweats, anxiety, and tension. However, he is still not fully aware of his surroundings. Which could be considered a good thing.
10:55. Patient has slipped into a deeper state of REM sleep and appears to be having nightmares. With a history of PTSD and drug abuse, this response was only to be expected. Regardless, we will continue to keep him closely monitored.
12:01. Signs of blurred lucidity and fear, as he did not want the nurses or me near him. Even now the patient rejects sustenance. He will need to be fed forcefully.
12:31. Force-feeding was successful with some resistance.
15:42. For the first time in two days patient has opened his eyes, but is still not mentally “there”. Until further development, he will not be considered conscious. Whether if he unconsciously chooses to be in this state is not yet known. Could be the PTSD responsible. Or the treatment, now.
16:34 Effects of the treatment are consistently improving. He has been talking more in his sleep, and will occasionally open his eyes. He does not see me or anyone who enters; we are phantoms in his delusion.
19:25. Indication of the patient’s nightmares becoming steadily evident. At times he will scream and attempt to claw at his own eyes. Roughly 15 minutes ago the patient had made an effort to attack a nurse who had been administering his medication. Request to restrain patient has been made.
He is lost on the Other Side now and has finally spoken, though in garbled gibberish. He sleep-talks of a girl and appears to be looking for her there. Poor thing, poor thing.
20:01. Patient has been restrained. Now he can only sleep.

16: AGE STEINER, RION was relocated to the farthest most west wing of the ICU. Not once did he stir. Brain wave patterns are ordinary and he appears to be dreaming. Bodily functions are working as they should.
Other than the nature that put him here and the state of his injuries, there are no physical abnormalities that could cause the blackout. STEINER will continue to be held here. Any progress will be noted.
Visitations from anyone other than STEINER’s doctor and other staff members will not be permitted at this time.
The bleeding has stopped. He will live.
